Isabel is a qualified secondary school teacher. She taught in Melbourne for two years before spending four years in the London and Colchester teaching English to students aged between 11 and 19 years of age. In London Isabel worked as an English and Linguistics Specialist Teacher, and developed the Physical, Social and Health Education Curriculum. She co-facilitated in school training for newly qualified teachers relating to behaviour management and communication skills.
On returning to Australia she joined B.E.V. Consultancy where she designs accredited and non-accredited programs. She co-facilitates and co-assesses nationally endorsed programs relating to the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Management.
In her current role she designs and delivers ‘organisational development’ interventions in the areas of ‘Leadership and Management’, ‘Action Learning’, ‘Best Practice’ and ‘Workplace Learning’, to various industry groups within the private and public sectors. Some of these organisations include Bunnings Pty Ltd, Coles Ltd, Officeworks and the City of Kingston.
Her achievements, qualifications & accreditations include the following:
- Graduate Certificate in Organisational Dynamics and is working towards her Masters (RMIT University, Melbourne).
- Postgraduate Diploma of Secondary Education (Monash University, Melbourne).
- Bachelor of Arts [English Literature and History] (Monash University, Melbourne).
- Exploring Psychology DSE212 (Open University London).
- Advanced Diploma of Management BSB60407 (RMIT University).
- Diploma in Management BSB51107 (RMIT University, Melbourne).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104 (RMIT, Melbourne).
- Accredited DISC practitioner (Integro Learning Company, NSW).
Isabel is currently doing voluntary work with the Australian Multicultural Education Services (AMES) and has also worked with:
- Volunteer Care and Teaching Assistant (Morotowa Children’s Home Sri Lanka).
- Volunteer in Communications Department World Vision (Melbourne).
- Voluntary Care Assistant (The Oakleigh Centre, Melbourne).
